SEN with Sam

C@LL is delighted to invite you to this very special session on what’s going on in the world of SEN right now and how it affects our children. You may know Sam Carlisle from when her daughter Elvi was at Linden Lodge or from her always to the point posts on our Classlist group. Sam is an award winning journalist and campaigner. With a general election looming, hear how the political parties are faring on disability policy and other extraordinary insights from Sam’s work with government, charities and families of disabled children across the country.

Sam really understands our world so do join us via Zoom for this rare opportunity to hear how the big issues at play impact our lives, it’s going to be a very relevant session for all of us.

Sam Carlisle:
Sam is mum to ex-Linden Lodge pupil Elvi, 22, and a co-founder of C@LL. A former journalist, she now runs Cause Communications, a PR company that works with charities. Her campaign work with the Disabled Children's Partnership has won multiple awards, and Cause's Guinness World Record winning campaign with Hidden Disabilities Sunflower has just won Campaign of the Year at the Shaw Trust 100. She regularly writes about life with Elvi in the media.
